I live down the road from this bakery and it took me literal months to finally make it in. WHY DID I WAIT SO LONG. The many different breads, pastries and assortment of Asian sweets are made so FRESH. The banh mi is also made fresh and it's really good for the price. The older couple who run the bakery are always very kind and the small seating they do have is neat and clean whenever I pop in. Some of the delicious things they sell I haven't seen since my childhood, so for me this place really is the best.

Next door to Pho Oregon, this little joint is well known across the community for it's fresh and delicious French inspired baked goods. One thing to keep in mind is that it's a bakery, not a deli-There's not much of a typical Vietnamese deli selection in terms of street foods aside from banh mi and pastries... but there is still certainly much to choose from. I highly recommend the pate chaud.

Wow! What a gem this place is! The culinary wisdom is the finest French bakeries are in Ho Chi Minh City. This one is in Portland.... The wide variety of Banh Mi are wonderful and they have fresh avocado smoothies (which I did not try, but will next time)! All kinds of wonderful French pastries, bread, pork bun and other delicacies. Brazzee East of 82nd.

Me and BF mostly here for Banh mi. I decided to try the Taro milk tea today since they claim that they make it from real taro. I paid 5$ for a 20oz size with boba, which is a really good price. I saw them grab the taro from the fridge, so fact check. I was busy talking to my BF when they made it so I miss the whole process of how and what they put in there. But it is really good, creamy, just the right sweetness (for me), and you can taste that true taro from it. The minus is just boba, it definitely not bad, my BF actually like it, he likes it soft, for me, I like chewy, so this is just my subjective opinion, thats why, 5 stars it is

Banh mi is good - great flavors, but it's thin and a little more expensive than best baguette. 4.50 is very reasonable still though.
Didn't think the pastries looked that fresh. I bought some of the refrigerated sweet desserts - not as good as bui natural tofu ones. The one that says it's "sweet corn" has no corn in it and tasted burnt to me.
The bao filling is pretty good - strong fish sauce and pepper flavor, but both are things I like. Overall I'm happy I tried it, but wouldn't go out of my way to return
